I'm gonna stay 18 forever
So we can stay like this forever
And we'll never miss a party
'Cause we keep them going constantly
And we'll never have to listen
To anyone one about anything
'Cause it's all been done
And it's all been said
We're the coolest kids
And we take what we can get.

Today...
I bought this:

^Click them for more than half...
or
it looks better here
Best $5 I have ever fucking spent.
And it's actually worth AT LEAST $25, hahaha.
Fuck, so good. There is nothing better than picture vinyl. From the '80s. UK Collectors edition. Bon Jovi.
:D
And, I bought a pretty pale pink coloured Young Einstein LP soundtrack for $3. Because it was pretty and pink.
Its Buy It Now price on ebay? Between $40 and $50.
What. Up.

The Flaming Lips.
The test begins now.
LISTEN!
Dave Fridmann is an absolute genius.
Listen to the FLips and MGMT before and after working with him.
Especially MGMT. They were brilliant before him. But what he did with their music, the difference between the Time To Pretend and Management demo versions of Electric Feel and Time To Pretend and Kids.
MGMT are fucking fantastic.
He mixed/produced Christmas On Mars and Oracular Spectacular in the same year, as well as nine others.
And, every Flaming Lips release since 1990, except Transmissions From The Satellite Heart.
And Weezer and Thursday and Black Moth Super Rainbow and Thursday and OK Go.
And and and.
Pictures of MGMT and TFL, because I can.

Triple J's Producer series is my new favourite.

Tequlia's made me stupid.

Like a child dizzy on lemonade.
Katy Perry also recorded the song " Ur So Gay". It sounds homophobic, but of course she's using the other, fashionable version of the word, meaning anything generally bad. Anyone who thinks that sounds offensive should just jew off, and stop being so bloody black about it.

I can't even stop procrastinating long enough to write an essay on one of my favourite fucking bands.

I love The Flaming Lips. Even though Wayne Coyne is 48, day-um.
Love Will Tear Us Apart breaks my heart every time I hear it.
It's far too real, and far too sad.
Fall Out Boy make me so mad for covering it. I mean, really. As much as I love them, just no.
Feeling quite shit right now, pretty fail-y.
Eh.
:)
