Dave Fridmann is an absolute genius.
Listen to the FLips and MGMT before and after working with him.
Especially MGMT. They were brilliant before him. But what he did with their music, the difference between the Time To Pretend and Management demo versions of Electric Feel and Time To Pretend and Kids.
MGMT are fucking fantastic.

He mixed/produced Christmas On Mars and Oracular Spectacular in the same year, as well as nine others.
And, every Flaming Lips release since 1990, except Transmissions From The Satellite Heart.
And Weezer and Thursday and Black Moth Super Rainbow and Thursday and OK Go.
And and and.

Katy Perry also recorded the song " Ur So Gay". It sounds homophobic, but of course she's using the other, fashionable version of the word, meaning anything generally bad. Anyone who thinks that sounds offensive should just jew off, and stop being so bloody black about it.

I got a four badges today.
My Uncle ordered a Billy Bragg shirt for his friend.
But it never arrived.
So he ordered another one.
And then got the first one in the mail.
Because it went to Hahndorf, Germany, instead of Hahndorf, South Australia.
And some badges came with it.
So I got them.
And Mum got the shirt.

And this is my favourite badge, and makes me love my life.

And before that, he signed Katy's copy of Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix.
And the best hug ever.

And before that, Chris talked about everything. And said a lot of very, very true things. And funny things. And sad things.
It amazes me how real, true and honest every word that comes out of his mouth truly is.

And yes, best night of my life.
